- Exposed Length: About 4.5in (This is an important length. Critical Length for the cable as long as this length is similar it will work regardless of your recliner.)

Be sure to look up the brand name of your furniture or you could end up buying the wrong parts, which is what happened to me with my first order. These were recommended by the manufacturer and they were easy to install and work just right.

These fit perfectly for our Ashley recliners. This is a fairly easy fix and can even be changed without removing the cable. This allows you to install without turning over the chair. Just remember to release the foot rest before disassembly. This will allow enough slack to pull the cable out and mount to the replacement handle. The handle has a small retaining clip around the mount. Easily removed with flat head screwdriver

Installed this on my couch yesterday. Wasn't very difficult, but the handle did not fit in my couch so I had to take it apart and just use the wire. Not sure if it's my fault that I bought the wrong one because I assumed they were universal. My couch reclines now and that's all I really cared about.
