Loving these window blinds! I installed the first one about five months ago and I love it. Recently I decided to go the same route for the other windows, the best decision I could have made.Installing the blinds is fairly easy. The most challenging part, so to speak, is trimming them to size. I used a large kitchen knife with teeth. Even if the newly cut edge might not be perfectly straight, it looks perfect once the blinds are installed. To install I used additional two sided glue tape to enforce the adherence of the blinds. They do come with their own sticky tape, however, based on reviews, the original glue tape is not holding properly. Therefore, I first wiped off the wall surface with alcohol to remove any dust or oily spots in order to secure the best adhesion possible. After securing the tape onto the wall I used a hair dryer to heat up the tape, then, using a coaster I pressed as hard as I could for a maximum bond. Once the tape installed I glued on the blinds. I am happy to raport that all the blinds are being held into place with perfection. They operate smoothly and none moved or shifted out of place.I am also very fond of the amount the light these blinds allow through. While they offer perfect privacy, there is still a fair amount of light coming through. Initially I ordered one blind to try, followed by two other blinds, then five others. They are exactly what I want from every single perspective, I couldn’t possibly be more pleased.

I am renting somewhere that had zero blinds or shades on any windows so decided to outfit all windows in the house with these after trying them in a couple rooms. They are great! They are very easy to open and close and look nice. They let in just the right amount of light when closed all the way. I have had a few people comment that they look very nice compared to other less than permanent blind options they have experienced. On top of all of that the installation system was very clever and made it super easy to measure and cut. From my experience if you do not really clean your window frames they will not stick well and eventually begin falling. The window frames I cleaned thoroughly are still up with their original adhesive, but some I spent less time on I ended up using a more advanced 3M double sided tape and it has been up since. The 3M tape applied and stuck well even after one or two of them had fallen multiple times, so it can be worth just trying with the original adhesive to see if it will work for you.If you use the wider ones be careful to make sure you pull evenly on each side, if you don't you can end up with an uneven height across the blind bottom. However that is remedied by pulling more on the opposite corner.Overall, very happy with these and they have served their purpose perfectly!

I like these shades a lot. They filter the light nicely, so there is no glare from the sun. They really are easy to install, and a sharp kitchen knife does work to cut to the correct length. They don't weigh much and are easy to lift and lower. II ordered 4 shades 48x64 for two wide windows. One of the 4 arrived in bad shape, the box and plastic shade base were cracked; Amazon replaced it in record time. One of the shades has had persistamt adhesione issues; the whole shade detached and fell on the window sill a day after installation. II stuck it back up, but a few hours later one side had detached. I'll just keep it up if needed, but I might have to get better double-seded tape. Another detached at one end a few times.I still think these are a good value, depending on durability.

I am sending this as I am icing my shoulder. Repetitive motion injury from all the work to remove the old glue from the window frame. I tried oil, goo off, acetone, scotch bright, emory paper, a scraper. Finally got the glue off by blasting it with a hair dryer and scraping it with a plastic spatula. Wood damaged. This purchase - which i have now returned- was a replacement for a shade that was damaged. Same brand which i have used before. But never again! Realized i have a drill and i own the house so i will put up curtain rods and find some curtains. Too bad - i like the look of this paper shade.

These shades are great for temporary use. They are easy to install and look very nice. But the adhesive only lasted about 3 months, even with adding Gorilla tape. The other issue I had with them is the inconsistency of the length. Ordered 4 and 1 was about 4 inches too short.

I bought at least 20 of these in different sizes for a quick solution to the blind-less windows in my new house. I thought they were just for temporary use and I didn't realize how great the quality was. They are actually a mechanical and engineering marvel. You can cut right though the entire mechanism to get them the right size, and yet they contain an elaborate string mechanism so you can raise or lower them to any height. They look great like expensive blinds. If you just kept these and never bought permanent blinds no one would know. Of the 20, two of them randomly unstuck and fell down but i just used some picture handing nails to secure them again and they work great. A nice, good looking affordable easy solution for window covering.

Me encanto!! De todo a todo, desde el sistema de corte, pasando por el sistema de montaje y por supuesto el sistema inalámbrico. Funciona de maravilla! Se adaptó a mi ventana como lo tenia yo planeado y se ve muy bien.

The quality of the product is great. I chose them for my living room based on filtering light rather than light blocking. They work wonderfully for this purpose! Getting them put up was rather tricky. However, after a few false starts, they were easy to install. Within a few days, two out of four shades started losing the grip. To be fair, the adhesion strip was flat but the surface I was trying to attach it to is not. When I pulled them completely off it made a mess of both the painted surface and the adhesion strip. I ended up using sets of command strip velcro hangers (see photo) (four per window shade). This works and will also allow me to take the blinds down without damaging the surface they're attached to. It’s also tricky to get them level when raising them – kind of hit and miss. If anyone has a suggestion about how to get them level, I’d love to hear it. The bottom line for me is I’d recommend these to friends and I’m going to order the black-out version for my bedroom.

Liked that they were easy to trim to size and the result was fantastic. They look like they were custom made for my windows and the natural colour goes with my decor perfectly. I have them in four tall windows in the alcove in my living room as well as one in the tv area where it keeps the glare out. They adjust easily to raise and lower them according to how much light I want in the room. The only problem I found was that the adhesive didn’t adhere properly on two windows but my husband put two screws on the top of each blind and now no worries. Absolutely love them.
