For the money this thing is great and the weight is fantastic for beginners and experienced users alike.Easy to adjust (just need a box cutter or sharp scissors) - just make sure you don’t cut it too short.The PVC rope and aluminum handles are nice and durable and the ball bearings definitely make the whole thing move much more smoothly than a cheap alternative.It’s heavy enough to make learning new step patterns easy because you have good perception of where the rope is and it moves slower than a traditional lightweight rope.On the other hand, it’s still light enough that you can get it moving quite fast once you’ve got your rhythm down - great for cardio and it’ll have your shoulders burning after a few rounds, excellent for boxers and martial artists.I haven’t used the braided rope but it seems to be of equal quality and includes a rubber protector to stop it fraying if used on concrete.If this ONLY included the PVC rope it would be worth the money, so I’m definitely pleased with the purchase.Would definitely recommend - especially at this price.

This is really durable and the extra weight provides a harder workout than a typical jump rope. It is nice that a lighter rubber / plastic type rope is included if you are not a fan of the extra weight. Should hold up longer than the last jump rope.

Comes with two ropes and one pair of handles, I like it a lot. The price is right, and you get enough rope to last the length of two ropes. This is my first and only heavier weight rope and it works well, I do notice the weight when in terms of fatigue.

I've worn out 2 regular non-weighted jump ropes, and hit a plateau a few months ago. I just haven't felt challenged, and largely stopped even breaking a sweat during my jump rope sessions, until now.The weight of this rope definitely changes things up, and I feel my core and upper arms activating in ways a regular rope couldn't touch even in the first 2 uses.I can't speak to the longevity or sturdiness as I just started using the weighted rope - but for the fun and feel of the challenge I'd say it's worth it. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼As a plus, adjusting the length was super easy and intuitive. Took seconds. Simple, stylish, and fun. 😊9/21/2023Update: So after almost daily use since I received the purchase, the rope is literally burning through where it sits in the handle. I've loved many things about this jump rope, but am realizing I need a more durable jump rope for the frequency I use it. Loved the weight, loved the style, loved the ease of use and the thickness of the rope along with the durability of the handles. Don't love that the rope is literally burning apart from the friction. If you want a stylish jump rope, with a durable handle, that you don't intend to use daily then this jump rope may still be for you. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

This is the perfect jump rope for someone who needs a little extra. If you are tall 6ft+ its perfect for you and easy to adjust the length. It will give you a good sweat and work those arms. Just make sure you wear shoes unless you like having your feet in pain. :)
