Complete set of (7) Grade 8 hardened yellow zinc plated carriage bolts, Grade 8 hardened yellow zinc plated flange nuts and OEM pushnut bolt retainers to attach the gas tank skid plate to the frame. Compatible with Jeep Wrangler TJ's and LJ's 1997-2006. Exact match to the OEM hardware only better. Note: 7 are needed for a TJ. All worked as prescribed. Definitely have to replace factory rusted bolts!!!!

If you are to the point of replacing the fuel slot boats you know what a terrible job it is. These are a good factory replacement the only issue I had was that the bolt retainer clips didn't hold well and made it a bit more difficult than it needed to be on reinstalation

If you've replaced your fuel tank or fuel pump you know how crusty and rusty the bolts get. I live in Arizona so you would think it wouldn't be bad, but my Jeep lived in Michigan so it is. I was trying to be careful when removing the tank, but I broke a bolt. Instead of going to the hardware store for 1 bolt I got this kit and replaced everything so the next time someone has to remove the tank it won't be an issue. Everything bolted up as it should. Good kit.

This retainer set is accurately represented in the photos and description. It's complete and provides all you need for a fuel tank drop and reinstallation. I figured my 04 TJ bolts have seen better days and picked these up as replacements in preparation for some work I'll be doing. It's a really nice set, but a bit expensive for what they are in my opinion. They do appear to be good quality, should work perfectly and last a long time.
