I got this as a stocking stuffer for my daughter and it was fun to play around with, but there’s not much to really say about a thumb piano. It makes clicking sounds like it should.

It would have been wonderful - I have a large one and this was to be a gift. Unfortunately my dog pulled it off the top of the antique stove where it was left, and proceeded to try to play it with her teeth. Didn't work and bent couple of the tins out of tune. HOWEVER if you don't have a big playful dog - I would say get one. Nice stress reliever when things aren't going smooth.

Its small, can be used on a necklace. Very portable.Plays simple songs and my daughter loves it as a different type of fidget toy.Well made for what it is. Very worth the money.

I bought these for my grandsons and they came with a necklace, and one came with music to learn some songs. They are enjoying learning to play. The craftsmanship is good, but know that they are VERY small. One fits easily in the palm of my hand. Good for young children.

I think the keys must not be lined up right because it sounds terrible. I know not to expect it to be perfect because it’s inexpensive and small, but it includes the music to play Hapoy Birthday and Happy New Year and they don’t sound even remotely correct since the notes are so off. Not worth gifting to my child as I know they’ll even recognize it sounds bad so I’ll be returning it.

For little kids this is nice, but the sound quality sucks. I get that it’s smaller, but it really sucks. For the price, it’s fine. I’d get a different one though.

Gave this as a birthday gift for a young child (took out the neck cord and beads first as they pose a choking hazard). This was the hit of the party! An older child there could NOT get enough of playing with it, and the birthday boy enjoyed both watching his friend play, as well as interacting with the kalimba himself to figure out how to make sounds with it.I like that this encourages a love of music making and is simple, no battery required, offers delight away and apart from a screen or electronic device, and invites play. Highly recommend.

I bought this and arrived and product looks exactly like photo. HOWEVER it was out of tune when it arrived and the package doesnt include a tuning hammer. Make sure that when you buy this that you either already have a tuning hammer or buy one along with this ðŸ‘
