Perfect fit ther called Skin Deep for a reason,they have a natural feel sharp crispy sound and look terrific! The price was fantastic too.

The 3 stars is not for the quality of the head but for the lack of options of the heads made for different drums. The feel is very "soft" and the sound is good but it didn't fit the drum. With it came from Remo the other heads they make and what I think I need it a "Tucked" skin. this one pulled down to one side or the other no matter how many times I tried to keep it even. What i did was cut the rim off the old split head and put it on first and the new one on top. Even still it is almost level with the rim. It's playable and like I said, it sounds pretty good. I have not even opened the 8" head because I'm sure it will be the same thing and that one is still in good shape for being original from the late 70's or early 80's. It's the one on the left if it's not obvious how much lower the head is to the rim.
