I ordered two baking soda's after I moved into a new apartment and I had never experienced such refrigerator smell that I started searching for solutions on amazon didnt even think something would be there. I put this on the refrigerator and when I opened the fridge in the AM smelled nice and LIKE no smells were even there before. I saw other brands charging more for something similar BUT GET THIS . you will not be disappointed. One thing though, I wish the color was clear or white so it matches the inside of the refrigerator.

I'd heard about the remodeez products and was most interested in the one for refrigerators. I liked the idea that it's a 'clean' product (no chemical additives to mask odors) that's features charcoal created from coconut husks as the active ingredient. Seemed like an innovative concept and that made me really curious to try one out. There's an abundance of fresh veggies and fruit in our fridge, plus almost always fresh fish [raw or cooked]. One way or the other, there's almost always an odor when the fridge door is opened as the fresh produce begins to 'go off' or the container with the fish wasn't closed tightly. Normal stuff. Within the first 24 hours after installing the small deodorizer unit, there were no lingering odors in the fridge whatsoever. Gone. Neutral. The only fragrance now is that of fresh food. This unit did exactly what the manufacturer said it would. What's cool is that the unit attaches to the inside of the fridge via a small 3M double-back tape pad. I placed it where it won't get bumped or knocked out when food is moved around. Kudos. I'm ordering more remodeez to have on hand to replace this initial one in 4-6 months (per the manufacturer's recommendation). This is 100% better than having an open cup filled with baking soda on a shelf to kill odors. Not even close!!

Overall I like it. The adhesive didn’t stick as well in my fridge so I ended up putting it towards the back of the fridge. I had some ground minced garlic in a ziploc bag for a few days so my fridge was off the chain. I moved the garlic to a glass sealed container which still the smell was there. This product removed the smell over night. Will probably purchase again as it is more effective than baking soda.

An appliance repair man sprayed the rolling racks in my freezer with a toxic smelling substance. Nothing would remove the smell that permeated into the fridge and through all the food and packaging (which all had to be thrown out). Fridge and freezer bleached clean but still that SMELL! I was desperate and tried this little plastic odor remover- It took nearly a week but WOW the scent is gone. I had zero expectations and now I'm telling everyone to try it.

The sticky part to hang the product did not work so I had to just lay it on one of the shelf. Other than that it works deodorizing any smells.

I got this because my husband has a habit of leaving uncovered food in the fridge and making it smell. Currently he has a small unwrapped chunk of spam in the fridge which usually smells bad, and I can’t smell it at all. This little deodorizer is incredibly effective.

This product was not effective I constantly was disappointed every time I opened my fridge I smelled those awful fridge smells of old vegetables and stale rotten whatever. I am not a person who keeps a lot of food in my fridge and everything is in airtight containers so it shouldn't be that hard to contain the smells. So I have to keep constantly on top of whats in my fridge if I don't want a reeky smell to hit me in the face everytime I open it. So I am going to use baking soda from now on.

Love this. They’re definitely better than the arm and hammer ones. I’d had some stinky fish in my fridge and this got rid of it right away

One major drawback, the sticky pad is not sticky at all. So the whole thing ended up laying in the fridge rather than being on the wall. Other than that, all good.

Like: It masks odors and is compact.Dislike: didn't come with a suction cup, it came with a plastic velcro strip. And it is hard to stick the velcro pieces together.
