Hole in my 2nd-hand Shark NV501 hose. This one fits well.It's a little stiffer than the original but I bet it'll loosen up with use.

I like almost everything about the replacement hose but for one thing. It does not have the hose retainer ring on it and there is no way to use the old one. When the hose is in place when using the vacuum as an upright the hose can swing around some, which can be irritating.
