Like others I bought a new seal at the hardware store, tried everything to pursuade it to fit in the rail; trimming, softsoap, levers but no- go. This seal worked great and is the correct profile for this door type at 3/16" round instead of t-shape, I honestly thought they were all the same, turns out i have the Dalton type. Tip: lube with some dishsoap suds and hotwater to make it slide on rail easier, the suds really do help and the hot water makes it more pliable. Hopefully this seal will last a while; the pictures show the seal profile off and on the track and before and after fitting. There's still a little daylight but its much better and is probably due to my concrete floor! Recommended!

Good replacement garage door seal. Fits Wayne Dalton doors perfectly. The bulb profile will not fit other door brands so make sure you have a Wayne Dalton Door (or Kinnear before Wayne Dalton bought them out) what door before you order. Dimensions are exactly like the original OEM seal. Material is supple yet stiff enough to feed into a wide door with little difficulty. Make sure you clean the track and lubricate it with soapy water, spray silicone, or other lubricant. I used dry nano lubricant spray and it worked perfectly.

When you find the correct replacement part, this rounded bead, it is actually easy to install!! No hot water soaking needed. But I did have to use some dishwash liquid to lubricate after pulling this 2/3ds of the way along the track. Hint: don't trim it toexact size until it has had time to relax!! Pulling the product into place can stretch it and it could shorten itself as it rebounds to normal shape after installation, which may leave you with small end gaps. I worked it along the rail to make sure any stretched spots were relaxed b4 the final trim. Isuppose this all depends on the condition of the rails on the bottom of your own door! Mine are in good condition with minor weathering - which also played into how easy the install was.

Worked great for Amarr garage door that had a dovetail retainer groove- but you can't find that anywhere. Get two people and some silicone spray and it will slide right in and hold on tight. You may need to get a flat head screwdriver and open up the ends a bit that the installers squeezed in to keep things from sliding out. Don't forget to squeeze the ends back when you're done.

Take a close look at the bead on the left. It is smaller than the bead on the right. Because of this it would not stay in the rail. If the left bead was the same size as the right. My search would have been over.Sadly will be returning this!

The weather seal is too hard and does not conform to the floor irregularities.The one that was replaced, conformed to the floor but it was too old (17 years) so was cracked.In order to buy this product, you have to be certain that your floor is absolutely even.

Says the round bead is 3/16 which it is not, way smaller like 1/16 so it doesn’t fit properly. Also rubber is more like hard plastic so doesn’t conform to the cement very well. Not at all what I was hoping for, it works, just poorly. Will need to replace it.
