I bought this clamp and a larger one to splice the ends of a flagpole rope together. I ended up using the larger rope clamp. After a month of being mounted on my flagpole the larger clamp has held up well. This smaller clamp might come in handy so I will store it in my miscellaneous parts bin in my garage. These are well made. The screws are very small so be careful when removing them from the clamp.
