This one works really good and it’s priced well.Fit right in where it supposed to. Operates quietly. And got the lock working again!BUT, I would “HIGHLY RECOMMEND†the dealership or a really good mechanic install it !!It IS NOT A “DO IT YOURSELF†job!!!

First - installing this part is relatively easy but the journey to get to this part and the journey to put it all back together is a colossal headache and time sucker.Second - if you have the tools, a buddy, and some time, it is 100% worth buying this part and doing it yourself. We saved about $1,475.00 by doing this on only one door! I bought a second one for the other door that I'll have to do as well so in the grand scheme, I'll pay about $100 (because of tools) and I'll save about $2,800 by not taking this into the shop.Worth it.

Bought the part and when installed it worked great for about a month, and now the it has failed and the unlock humming noise is back when you try to unlock the door. Not going to say it's a bad product, but I have definitely got a defective unit.

It's not an easy task to replace the actuator on a 2016 Town & Country van (not the fault of the actuator). However, if you are mechanically inclined and don't mind spending 4-8 hours disassembling and reassembling the sliding door then this actuator is the part you need. Make sure you watch the YouTube videos before attempting the installation. If you are able to do the work you'll save at least $75 over an OEM actuator and several hundred dollars in labor. The estimates for replacing this part online were $1000-$1300

My side door would not walk on my van so it was a real security issue I was planning a trip to a big city and I have to cure your scooter in my van. I was afraid that someone would steal it so I ordered this part and my nephew put it on. It was very inexpensive and totally fix the problem. It came really quick too.

This crappy device failed after 1 month in my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan! I had it professionally installed cuz the procedure is a nightmare. Cost me $300. I had to buy an OEM from a dealer at 10 times the cost of this joke. And paid another $300 to have it installed. You get what you pay for so shame on me. No more garbage overseas parts for me. Buyer beware as they say. No refund cuz its over 30 days..how quaint.

This lock actuator was a direct replacement with out having to modify anything for it to fit and work perfectly. It was so nice to have the door work properly again and reduce the noise level so much it could barely be heard. Now it locks and unlocks just like new again.

Lo compré porque la puerta ya no cerraba el seguro. Me lo instalaron y funciona bien. Generalmente si se activa, pero en ocasiones no se activa el seguro, para asegurarme de que se active el seguro, le tengo que presionar dos veces el botón de cierre desde el control; por eso el doy 4 estrellas.

Fast delivery and exact fit…But installation is an absolute nightmare I suggest if you’re not really really handy pay garage to do it, it took me nine hours to install it. I had to take the entire side door off and do it in a garage I would never ever do it again.

Compared so well against name brand locks and this one came within a day. It was difficult to install it( if you are not a mechanic) but once it is in it works like a charm
