Non-compensated, individual purchase.THESE ARE FRICTION REDUCING SOCK LINERS AND ARE EXTREMELY THIN AND STRETCHY.Exactly what i was looking for! Pefect for reducing friction in cowboy boots, work boots, muck boots, and wading boots. They provide friction reduction but no padding whatsoever.Purchased these to reduce friction wear inside my work boots and cowboy boots to let the lining material last a little longer since i wear thick boot socks that will rub and abrade those internal liners - i enjoy cushion boot socks but this creates wear and tear on the boots. These are absolutely perfect! If they were thicker, you would have to work thinner true socks. I wish they made these in a thicker, cusioned version that was hydrophobic (moisture wicking) and i would wear them by themselves.Perfect paired with thick wool boot socks.Durabilityshould be good, just don't use heat to dry them or the elastic in the sock liner material will degrade - air dry will make them last longer.

Pro: length and ease putting in, warm and useful as fin socks, prevents chaffing, length is protectiveCon: rubber sole too thin and ripped along the seam after 3 months.

These are a good alternative to the triple priced neoprene wetsoks if your looking for something to wear under your waders so the are easy on and easy off and not concerned about warmth so much. These seem to be the same outer material and construction as the 2mm neoprene wetsocks without the neo si they are actually more breathable under your waders too

I purchased these for SCUBA diving to wear inside neoprene dive boots. On the plus side, these are much longer than typical dive socks. It will definitely make sliding in a full wetsuit easier. I read people complaining about them not being waterproof. I have yet to see nylon socks that are. They are NOT neoprene. On the negative side, the seams are a bit bulky. I hope they don't create pressure along the seam inside the dive boot. As far as size, to me they were a little big (XL for a size 10 M). They aren't too loose but a slightly snugger fit would have been better. Overall the product appears to be well made. Time will tell regarding durability. Given the price I think they are a good value.

These are my go to socks before putting on my waders, they add little bulk and make getting in and out of my waders much easier.
