Our toddler has worn a weighted sleep sack to bed and is so used to it. Transitioning out of the sleep sack has been so easy with this blanket. It’s the perfect weight and size! She loves it and can’t sleep without it! Super durable and washable!

I’ve been looking at weighted blankets for the past year or so, going back and forth between really expensive ones, plush ones, the kinds that have duvet covers, etc. My son is 3.5 and was diagnosed with autism last year, and has always struggled with sleep. His occupational therapist recommended a weighted vest to help regulate him during the day, which did wonders for his overall mood. I figured a weighted blanket might keep him calmer at night, too.I was told to always go with 10% of your child’s body weight. He’s about 37 lbs, so rounding up to a 4lb blanket should be fine. 4 pounds doesn’t sound very heavy, but WHOA! There’s some serious weight to it! He’s not a big fan of hot, fluffy blankies (like fleece or sherpa materials), so this one is actually perfect. It’s a lot softer than I expected! It has a very fine brushed microfiber feel to it, and the inside feels like teeny tiny beads… but you have to really push on it to feel them. The size is great for him; he’s about 3’2†tall and it covers him well with room to grow. MI’m impressed with how evenly distributed the weight is. He normally sleeps very hot, but this is perfect for our chilly winter nights. I’m worried he might get too hot during the summer….I wish it was easier to wash, but the tag says you can hand wash it and hang to dry. He’s currently potty training and mostly night trained, but I worry about things like accidents or middle of the night stomach bugs …. 🫤 I might do a quick gentle cycle sometime and see how it does. If I ruin it…. Oh well. It was SO cheap.He’s sleeping better than he ever has! No night terrors ever since we got it. No tossing and turning. No early wake ups. He falls asleep *so fast* when I lay it over him. It’s a DREAM & I wish I got it sooner. Hope this helps! 😴

helped mildly with my sleepless child, the fabric was just slick enough to easily fall off of them. the pattern was cute and fun.

Immediately had to lay down with it as soon as I got it. It’s not too heavy and it gives off a secure feeling, which is perfect if you or your child that has trouble sleeping. Blanket is also pretty soft and feels nice to the touch, plus, you can’t hear the beads moving around as you’re moving! This is a game changer for bed and nap time. 100% recommend!

My son needed a weighted blanket to help with his sensory needs and struggling to calm down and sleep at nap time and bed time. This was the perfect size at 4lbs for him, and he loves dinasours so he was more than willing to try it out when it came. I feel like the beads are not distributed evenly though. There is far more in the middle of the blanket and almost nothing on the edges. However my son loves this blanket and has been sleeping much better with it.

It helps my chold sleep through the night. It washes in a machine well. The 3 pound blanket is perfect for my toddler.

My 4 yo was struggling to sleep through the night, but this has really helped. Now she asks for it. It's her favorite.
