A: You can just apply to the bow, about 5-10 times up and down. For new rosin, you can also use a file to slowly and gently scrape the surface for easier attachment to the bow.

I like dark rosin—it's my personal preference. So, when I was shopping for some inexpensive rosins to drop into project violins, I saw these and decided to order them. At their price point, they can't be beat. Of course, you get what you pay for; don't expect this to be an amazing, world-class rosin from a boutique manufacturer. It is not, and the amount of rosin that you get isn't exactly generous, either.However, there's a lot to like here. The rosin works great. I played all day today using this rosin, and it's fine. While it is true that this rosin will crack if you look at it wrong, this is mostly due to the shallow pour and the little plastic cases, which can be tricky to open. Exercise due caution, and you'll be OK.A little of this rosin goes a long way, so this little cake will last a while for the occasional player. Remember to roughen it up a bit with some sandpaper when you start using it, and it'll be good to go. Recommend.

Exactly what I needed for kids they keep breaking and losing their rosin. They are on the small side but that also makes it easier to fiy in in smaller cases. Seems to work as any rosin does. Didn't create much dust when being used.

Sooo…using this for an unusual option. Review for guitarists only😅Putting on a big 6 sided bic pen for my guitars. See Andre Cavalcante guitar Oceans or A Thousand Miles.If you’re using it for that, then I can tell you this will suffice for getting the sound you need w a pen and rosin! Just place on all 6 sides before you use them for a long song.Beware rosin will make your strings pretty dry and sticky for a while for your finger picking. Just wipe it off w a damp cloth and rehydrate w some oil (I just use coconut).Overall pretty fun and it sounds very unique! Super easy to apply and perfect fit for a pen or bow I reckon.

La calidad de la brea es excelente super suavecita de aplicar aun siendo nueva.La publicidad es algo engañosa porque esperaba que las cajitas de brea fueran un poco más grandes jeje 😅 pero en cuanto a calidad me gustó mucho. Tomé la foto de la brea junto a una moneda de $10 pesos para que vean el tamaño de las brea.
