The Instructions apparently the unit came with an Extra Coil Spring. It been a long time since I worked around Gas Valves. And the instruction were quite Clear Hooking it up. I was stumped because of That Spring. Other than that this is great Stove Top the 200,000btu was very Sufficient for my intentions. Plus I want to make some Modifications. If your going to use any smaller cooking Pots or Skillets? This may not work due to the Rods that meet in Middle there’s too much Space that could cause your skillet or Pot to Spill. But to use 8â€-10†or Larger this is the Perfect Stove Top. The Inside measurement of the Frame is like 15 3/8 and the other way is 151/2 inner Dimensions with a small drop off to the Round Rods. This is the where I might make the Modifications. I want mine to level out with the Top of the Frame. I wish to make a Solid Grill top for making Fried Eggs, Pancakes. So that I don’t have to buy a Smaller Version.Overall this was what I wanted for my larger uses.

Ok I was looking for a big gas burner for my large cookware. We use similar devices in scout camp. I didn't realize though the amount of power this guy offers. It is way bigger than our scout burners. It is overpowered for my 12" cast pan. I could not use it without it at lowest level before flames stared going out and I had to use long metal utensils to avoid singing knuckle hair. Fortunately I have my 15" cast and large wok. They were perfect for it! I could boil water in big pan in a minute. Looking into 22" cast too. This beast could heat that no problem. We can use it on a 8 gallon stock pot with good results. One thing I would recommend using a marker to put marks on dial to give you some reference as you set the gas level. If you want real power, get this but only for the BIG cookware.

I imagine this would be great for big pots, ie home brewing.For wok use, the original stove grate is too corse for a wok to slide on, but the stove is compatible with a wok ring as pictured.The flame distribution is not great for a wok, the burner has no center flames(for a wok it's best for heat to be concentrated at the center).That being said, it's a cheap, powerful, and sturdy burner that will get the job done.

Do not buy. This is a fire hazard. It came with a broken valve and the company would not replace or refund it. I showed it to my local fire dept and they said if I hooked propane up to it that it could possibly explode. Do Not Buy from this company. Mine is in the trash.

I was worried about this purchase because it was fairly inexpensive compared to other burners, but I was so happy to see it operating.Only feedback, the paint quickly came off when on high. But these aren’t made to look pretty, they’re made to create heat and bring water to a quick boil… and it certainly did just that.Highly recommend.

Super-hot temps or a low simmer are both possible here. It is sufficiently sturdy yet takes some finesse and a thermometer to achieve the desired targeted temp--which is expected. You will need to buy a standard propane tank.
