My cat is on a special food from the vet, this is the only food he is allowed to eat so he doesn't get an allergic action. Thank goodness he will eat it.

I was prescribed this food for one of my cats and so all of the cats have started eating it. They seem to like it and it keeps their tummies from getting upset. The price is way up there so I may have to find another food that can either be mixed with this or replace it. I have 4 cats eating it now. If I had only one cat, it would not be so bad.

This was the only food that worked for my allergic kitty. So expensive but I had to keep him healthy. He is allergic to all other proteins I've tried. So imagine my horror when I discovered that Royal Canin, a PRESCRIPTION-REQUIRED food (and why is that, I wonder? Is my kitty going to OD on food?) has changed their formula which is meant for sensitive stomachs to supplement the rabbit protein with SOY, which according to two separate vets is not bioavailable to cats (not to mention ruining a formula which WORKED).And the price just keeps going up and up for what is becoming a lower quality food.I guess I should be glad I don't have to deal with the prescription issue anymore. I have switched to Nature's Variety Limited Ingredient Diet Rabbit Meal formula, which is RABBIT PROTEIN ONLY. It doesn't work quite as well for my little guy and his guts as the old Royal Canin formula but at least he isn't eating junk filler anymore.

My cat with IBD really reacted well to this. Really, really expensive though. So I couldn't continue.

Arrived in a reasonable time. I vacuum bag the contents into smaller bags to keep it fresh.

The cats love it! Seems to be reducing Coco's allergic responses to most foods. Yes, I'll be purchasing it again.
