This is a great blending fork. Well pleased with this utensil. I thought I left it at church. So I ordered three more so that I would always have a fork available . Multiple purposes great asset for baking and cooking.

I don't know why these died off and whisks took over. This is so much easier to clean and does the same exact thing and more! You can use it for so much stuff. Lift greasy stuff out of a pan and drain all the oil, mash potatoes, serve food, hell- you could eat with it if you wanted to. Only gripe is the head's welded onto the wire handle rather than a solid piece. I don't intend to abuse this but knowing I might have to temper my expectations leaves me wary. I hope I'm just being paranoid but it doesn't look like the most solid construction they could have done.

Bought for large hard to mix cookie doughs. These forks are amazing! Blended my hardest to mix dough (a heavy oatmeal dough) with less effort. They're strong and very well made. Great buy!

I grew up using this type of mixing fork as my mom, grandma, aunts, etc always had one in their utensil drawer and is considered an essential kitchen tool in our family. My mom's is probably close to 60 years old now and is still in good shape.When I moved out decades ago, I was surprised to find that they weren't available in any store. Years later I found one and was excited to have one for my kitchen. But it turned out to be cheaply made. The metal was too soft and the tines bent so easily it was useless.Saw this one on Amazon by chance a couple weeks back and decided to see what quality they are and I'm happy to report that they're made from strong steel and I expect them to last as long as my mom's.
