I purchased this hour meter on Jan 18, 2024, and installed it on my Bad Boy Maverick mower to replace the factory meter that had quit working. Installation was easy and it worked great all summer. However, in Oct it quit working so it didn't even last a full year. I contacted the seller a few days ago and haven't heard anything back. Hopefully they'll eventually reply and send me a new unit.

This hour meter connected to my 2024 Toro timecutter mower harness without any modifications! I had to slightly alter the mounting hole to get it to fit. I would definitely recommend it.

Used this in an AC130 Lawn Tractor/mower. (Simplicity regent). It fits in the dashboard perfectly and is easy to wire up. (The wires are already there in the mower for this style hour meter) The meter is always displaying due to its own internal battery, but it counts the engine hours only when the ignition is on. Good product for the money.

While the internal battery is expected to last many years, at that point, the reading is lost. So it’s might not be appropriate for all applications where there long term age of a machine is important. It’s perfect for what I wanted which was to track the maintenance of my 8kw generator.

Product was non-functional out-of-the-box. I do not recommend this product or products from this manufacturer. I’m returning the product. If I could give less than one star, I would.
