This works really nice and it’s quick and easy. I use a one teaspoon little cookie scoop, which is the perfect size for this mold, I also use a spray bottle of water to spray over the first layer with the meatballs before covering it with the second dough and they all sealed nice and tight, not one opened up in the boiling water. To cut them I first use a regular rolling pin to flatten them out and finish cutting them off with a small tapered French style pin till all of the metal pattern is visible, then remove the excess dough and just turn it over and give it a good tap and they all fall right out. I dump them onto parchment to easily funnel them into the boiling water. You can use it to make any kind of little dumpling, stuff them like perogi with potato or you can make ravioli or Asian dim sum, anything you like. Fun on a rainy day to make with a friend or young person. They are delicious and super easy to make. Great item, highly recommend

This is a great unit, easy to use. Easy to clean. Very sturdy. Came very well packagedMy pasta roller only makes about a 4†wide sheet so I have to make two sheets or three to cover which I don’t consider a hardshipI recommend and if it matters to you it’s made in the ukraine

This mold is well-made with precisely defined edges that allow for clean separation of extra dough. I used a measuring teaspoon to deposit 1 tsp of meat mixture and to create a slight dent in the dough for easier depositing. A water-dipped brush ensured the dough (top layer) stuck perfectly. After sealing with a rolling pin and removing the extra dough, I flipped the mold over and gently tapped it against the cutting board (a couple of taps may be needed) to release the dumplings effortlessly. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product.

I use uncooked tortillas and this kutchen gadget to make yummy dumplings and it speeds up the process. It is very fast and easy to make them. Size is ok, I wish it was making bigger dumplings, so I hav have more filling and not dough. It's very easy to clean, just wash ar throw in dishwasher. I am happy with the purchase

Love this pelmeni maker. It makes 37 of the Russian pelmeni dumplings at a time. Use a pasta roller down to 2nd thinnest setting. My pasta roller only makes a 6" wide strip, so just trim them to 12" lengths, wet the long edge of one sheet and set another sheet next to it overlapping by 1/4" . Press to join the two sheets and it's perfect for this pelmeni maker. Do the same for the top pasta sheets. Fill with 1/2 teaspoon of meat filling. I used ground bison and ground pork mixture with green onion chopped fine, granulated garlic, salt & pepper and whatever seasonings you want. Use an actual measuring spoon and measure 1/2 teaspoon filling until you get the hang of it. That's the perfect amount.I had ZERO sticking problems. Lightly spray the pelmeni maker with vegetable oil cooking spray, then dust it with a little all purpose flour. No sticking. Use a good, sturdy roller to press the dough. It's important to go over the mold a few times, rotating it, then roller again until you can see the metal mold peaking through the dough. Pull excess dough from around the edges. Now the pelmeni should pop easily from the frame. On my 1st day, I made about 6 batches, or over 200 pelmeni. I froze most of them. Next day, I made 6 more batches (over 200 more). For general reference, 30 pelmeni makes a nice, filling snack for 2 adults. If making them for dinner, about 25 pelmeni per adult is a hearty meal. They are easy and fun to make. Please remember to use a light mist of vegetable oil cooking spray, then light dusting of flour before each batch to prevent any sticking. 100% satisfied. I got a lot of complements when people saw how professional looking the pelmeni came out of the maker. Boil the pelmeni for 3 minutes, then I coated with a little olive oil, salt & course pepper, then served with a small dipping bowl of sour cream & chive. This product is sturdy, cuts the pasta well and worked better than anticipated.

This thing is garbage. I had been looking for a mold like my mom used to have and while this one looks like what I needed, they skimped and cut corners manufacturing the product so much that it's barely usable.First, the legs are too short which means you can only put a tiny bit of stuffing before your dumplings are pushed against the countertop underneath the mold. Second, the holes are so shallow and their edges are so sharp that the dumplings *will* get caught while you're trying to get them out of the mold, which will either tear the dumplings or make you spend more time getting them out - which kinda defeats the purpose of the product.I understand that the price at under 15 bucks is attractive, but there are way better products out there for just a little more money. I got one for $23 and that one was perfect. TL;DR - look elsewhere.

This is an ideal, well-made form that simplifies processes and makes the work of creating vareniki easier. A pleasant combination of price and quality. Delivery on time.

I made pelmeni. The rolling pin did not make proper cuts in the pastry no matter how much I rolled it over the top, so I had to use a knife to separate the pelmeni. Also the pelmeni were difficult to push through without squashing. The ravioli maker itself looked old and much used when I received it (grey spots all over it) and was not in its original packaging, just in bubble wrap. It cost me $52, so I was not impressed.
