Was hopeful with the reviews. The presses are very flimsy and do not line up right. The cutters are so thin if you apply any pressure the circle rings bend. Unfortunately, I would not even recommend for a first timer.

Difficulties with trying to get the dough to stay in order to put the filling in. Then, if you are able to get it to stay, it doesn't fully seal it up. I still needed to go around the edges with a fork.

These dumpling makers took a little while to figure out how to use properly but after I did they were great. I love that the set comes with the circle cutters and presses. The first time I used them I put to much filling in and they didn't work as well as I was expecting. However, after I figured out the right amount of filling they worked great and sealed my dough properly. They were also very easy to clean. I would recommend this set.

The disc cutter small was fine. The large was unfinished and had to throw away to prevent getting fingers cut. The only thing usable was the spreader. Bought to help make Pierogi and did not do the job

I used this for sealing hand pies, even though the pies seem to seal, once they hit heat they all opened out. The manual sealing proved much better than this. Was a waste if time and money

I got this to replace our ancient dumpling maker and the new design just feel more comfortable to use; they are less fiddly, don’t need aligning and provide a clean finish. You also get coordinating circle cutters and a flat spatula, both of which just make everything so much more efficient. A very handy little set if you're going to make dumplings or mini filled pastries.

Quality control was blind and workmanship is seriously lacking. It looks like they were dropped from the plane and though they survived, they need to be put out of their misery. Never seen anything this bad. Maybe they should have packed it better.
