I love this so much! It was so fun to make beautiful dumplings with these -- heart shaped ravioli and other kinds of pasta fun. Beautiful. Fits my hands. and feels like an heirloom.

This set comes with 5 pieces (a square, a circle, a heart, a small pastry/pizza cutter wheel, & a ravioli cutter wheel), and a cinchable net bag to hold them all in. The stamps are good for ravioli, the wheel without ridges is just basically a small pizza cutter so it’s good for that but I’ve used it for cutting knish dough. I haven’t tried the actual ravioli cutter wheel yet but I’m excited to, I bet it will be perfect to make lasagna noodles which I’ve always wanted to try making. It gives a bunch of options for shapes, & the bag is helpful to keep them all together. The packaging says they’re made out of stainless steel and “high quality woodâ€, & that they’re non-toxic. The wood (might be oak?) isn’t coated in anything so it’s just raw wood, could get splintered but it hasn’t so far for me. That’s my only concern. But so far while they are small and not super heavy duty, they’ve lasted for me so far.

These tools work really well for cutting fresh pasta dough. So far, I’ve made ravioli and agnolotti, using both the lace cutter and the square stamp, and they work better than other similar tools I’ve had.The set comes with 3 stamps (heart, circle, and square), a ridged wheel knife, and a smooth wheel knife, along with a mesh bag to keep them in. The description says the wheel knife can be used for cutting pizza but I doubt that it would cut easily once the dough is cooked (and I don’t know anyone who cuts their pizza before it’s cooked). The tools look and feel well-made and the wood handles are comfortable in my hand. I’m really pleased with this set - they’re a must for making fresh pasta!

I was really surprised at how small these pasta makers tools were. These tools will do the job. But the handles to me are a little bit too small. I have small hands myself; yet I almost felt like I was using kids play toys. They're not that tiny. But someone who has large hands might find themselves feeling like they don't have a lot to grip on to.I mean...it doesn't take a lot of pressure to make pasta. But it just seems like the handles being as small as they are was a little bit awkward to me. They're good tools to use. But again...to me the tools are a little bit awkward because of the size of the handles.A couple of the tools have handles that are okay. But the rest of them, I just feel like I'm playing with toys instead of pasta tools.

The item description mentions "stainless steel" in part of it, but these are definitely not stainless steel. Maybe the pizza and pasta cutting wheels themselves, but the rest of the metal is relatively cheap base metal that looks like it's been chrome plated. One of the handles is relatively loose as well. If you only make pasta occasionally, these should be fine and are probably worth the cost. If you are a regular pasta maker, however, look for something heavier and better made. The set does come with a mesh bag to store it all together, so that's a nice inclusion.

Making all the cute pasta is a breeze for me now. I love making ravioli! The stampers are my favorite part of this kit.
