Works well like any other pasta form, but the stars don't always keeps a star shape through cooking process. The plastic is very thin and probably won't hold up too long.

This maker was extremely disappointing. The ridges are not sharp or thick enough to cut through the dough. My dough was thin as I used my Kitchen-Aid pasta roller.If I attempted to pull the edges away from the hearts, they totally lost their shape.I have the Cuchina traditional pasta press many times with success. I saw that this was plastic instead of metal, but didn't expect them to sell a poorly designed product.

I had a ravioli making party with my daughter and her friends. This was fantastic for them to play with. The only downside is that it is very particular about the dough consistency. If your dough is just the slightest bit moist, it's going to stick. I know you could fix that by putting flour over it come, but that was the only downside I could think of. Wonderful toy, wonderful experience in the kitchen, and fun.
