I had lost the cover to one of these on my truck topper. Probably in the car wash. These fit perfectly. & it was very easy for me to take off the old & put on the new.

Long story short, I have an older bathroom, and tub surround. It is a 4 piece tub surround. We use 3 piece bathroom molding kit. In the center on the end the molding never wanted to stay as tight as I would have liked it to be. Caulking would eventually crack and pull away. I always used whatever screws to hold the trim in place, but they were ugly. I purchased new stainless steel screws , flat head because they don't rust, and these covers. They worked great!!! Before inserting the screw into the back piece I placed a bead of silicone on the backside of the backpiece where the hole is, that would go next to the trim, then inserted the screw and screwed it in. I did this to give me just give a little better water seal, then a pushed the cover/cap over the backpiece , super easy, and looks nice. I had no problem with any of the caps falling off. Note I put in a couple of screws that weren't there before so I predrilled, and then used the same procedure. You do not have to use caulking on the backside of the caps, but I did it just to make a better water seal around the screw. I like these and I will definitely buy again if I need them for any other projects.

Works for snowmobile windsheild fasteners, like Artic cat, for a fraction of the price

Dimensions exactly as stated; an inexpensive solution to hide unsightly screws / fasteners as well as provide protection from corrosion in outdoor use. Better yet is to add a small dab of a silicone grease on the screw head before snapping closed if used outdoors; lets you re-use fasteners if desired. Example is I use these on screws attaching trellises to the front of my backyard shed, which need to be removed when it is time to repaint the shed and then reinstalled afterwards.

Love the look. Very clean. But it doesn’t hold water in the tub. It worked for a few months. My son was in the bath and slowly but sure the tub was half full
