This is definitely an upgrade from the original. UV destroyed the originals. These also have a screen in the top under the cover.

Needed this item quickly for a roof repair. The tech said I may as well replace the vents since they were old. So I ordered these and had them ready in a couple days. Good price from a great seller.

My old vent cover was literally falling apart. Got these and could not be happier. Install was super easy. Just scrape off the old sealant and unscrew the old vent, put some sealant on the bottom of the new vent and screw it back in place, then seal around the new vent and you are done. I recommend watching a couple videos online on how to do this but it really is as simple as that. Just don't use the self-leveling sealant I used. It does not seem to last long.

As good as original so that means it will last maybe 4-5 years then need replacement. It is thin, was hoping to find something better made. Might have to look for galvanized ones next time.

They were not exactly the same size but with modifications, they did the job!
