We ordered the strut support to hold up the heavy steel Hood over the engine compartment, that's "Bonnet" for you in the UK world. But Amazon ad doesn't say it's really not for the hood over the engine so you can work on it and not get banged in the head. These are way too short and maybe are made for some tiny little compartment for a small kitchen cabinet but certainly not for this big truck. We wanted to return it but over 30 days. The descriptions on this product and other strut supports don't help you to know how long they are or whether they're sturdy enough for a steel engine hood. 1 Star for bad ad.
