I purchased this to do a small project with my nephew. The box came with everything needed to put this rotary tool to use quickly. After a quick charge the tool was ready to use. I used this to cut popsicle sticks for a small project we were doing, building a tiny bridge. I used the drill and the rotary saw bits throughout the project. The rotary tool has several levels, so I was able to speed it up or slow it down as appropriate to the task. The buttons are all easily accessible and easy to use. The problem I experienced was that with more than say 10 minutes use, the tool got hot. Now I'm not talking about 10 minutes of continuous use, I'm talking about using it two minutes, putting it down one minute, and picking it back up and using it two minutes more - close intermittent use. With this type of use it heated up enough that I would have to stop to allow it to cool down. I am still very happy with the product, it does what it claims and with the various heads that come standard you will find other uses you may not have anticipated. I would buy this again.

I make jewelry and use this tool almost every day! There is a perfect size drill bit for drilling into earring pieces. It makes it easy and effortless. This is a great quality tool and the battery life is quite long until you need to charge it again. I would recommend this tool.

This item is defective and DANGEROUS. Work for approximately five minutes then plugged into USB to charge. I heard a loud pop and motor ran full speed and could not be turned off with any buttons on unit. Began smelling burning printed circuit board, and case was getting hotter and hotter to the touch. Was lucky enough to be in my shop and had a micro screwdriver to disassemble and unplugged the battery from circuit board before it melted down and/or caught on fireLook inside the case to see the burn marks.

No safety catch. Once it is on it will continue to cut and that isn't safe. It does cut well and has a lot of power, but it seems like it should have a safety catch of some kind. Keep this in mind when working.

Purchased this in 2024 and found it remarkably well built for the price. Enjoy the variable speed which comes in handy when polishing, grinding and so on. Would purchase again.
