I really love the wide base. It makes it much more stable. I also thought the hole mechanism was clever. The holes gradually get bigger as you turn the lid, instead of the usual three options. There is also a pour spout. It looks sleek and is easy to take apart and clean. The salt does clump up, but that is always resolved with a quick shake, and I'm not sure if that's remediable. I actually bought it because we melted our plastic one, so I like how the glass holds up to heat. It also hasn't broken despite having a few small falls. Good value.

Needed a much better salt shaker because we prefer kosher flake salt, but most salt shakers have holes way too small. First, this thing holds plenty of salt. Probably 4 times as much as a typical shaker. It looks pretty nice with glass and metal. Big cap makes it easy to fill. The adjustable dial thing actually works pretty well. The only issue is, even on the largest hole setting, some of the holes are a bit small for flakes. I took a 1/8" drill bit and drilled out the plastic on about 6 of the holes to make them all the same size. Works great.

Size is great. This shaker is larger than a regular salt shaker but still handy. Price is great. I'm going to buy another for pepper so I can keep them on the stove.

Thought this would be great for switching between fine and coarse grain salt & pepper. But guess what? The grains wedge themselves in the twisty part and it stops being adjustable. Too bad. Great concept, but didn't quite work for me.

Large salt shaker. You can choose the size of holes you want. I keep salt in it but other things would work too. I keep it in the kitchen for cooking. Seems well made. Simple design.

Swivel top easily gets jammed. Solution it to take it off and run it under warm water then let it thoroughly dry before putting it back on. Does the job

Good Size S&P shakers. Or could easily be used for herbs. Different size holes for dispensing contents.
