We live in Las Vegas where we are experiencing a water shortage. Living in a 45 year old home, built when everyone had a giant pool, we needed to find a method of reducing the evaporation, especially in the summer with high heat and wind. We have positioned these sandbags on the sides of the pool to hold down 2 huge mesh shade cloths, ten pounds per bag. It appears to be working very well. And the sandbags are just the thing to use, as they do not scuff up our newly textured patio. We just pick them up and move them and the cloth when the grand kids come to swim.I love that the company is here in the USA! Thank you for a quality product!

Nice product, strings are ok but I follow up with a zip tie to help ensure a sealed package.I did not take into account the reduction of bag size after closure, therefore, I would go next size up.

Received quickly. Very easy to fill. I was able to use these as weights for my umbrella stand. I love that I can move them or easily add or remove sand. The size is perfect.
