I have probably 20 of these. They're just so easy to use, set and work with. Are the the safest thing on the planet? Good gravy, no. It's a simple lock with a simple braided metal cord shackle. But as something to put a little security on an otherwise unlocked bag? Yeah, it works very well. When I travel with a duffel bag or backpack, it adds a little peace of mind. For the price, functionality and suitable durability, I haven't found better.I got the first set of these for actually putting some locks on my bags when going to the range. Not only seems a decent thing to do but also helps with transport concerns.

I own several Savior brand items like the mini range bag and the specialist double rifle bag. All of Savior products are well designed, tough, and sold at a value price. These locks perfectly address the need for locked cases in New York. They won't keep thieves out, since any thief can simply steal the bag or just cut the cable with a set of pliers. But they serve as a visual compliance with the law and perhaps a deterrent to potential petty thieves.

These lollypop size cable locks are faster, stronger and more attractive than the cheapo barrel-cable lock or Itty-bitty key locks which are both supe-fiddley and annoying.Now, let's all be honest with each other. If someone wants into your travel case to get at your hardware, no lock of any price will offer substantial deterrent. Judicious application of side cutting pliers, or reasonably sharp box cutter knife will do the trick in under a minute. This is not for that.this is to keep you on the right side of the law in most jurisdictions while transporting 2A hardware outside of your home.These are solidly made, quick to operate, good looking and relatively inexpensive. I will be buying more in a variety of colors.Don't forget, they are TSA compliant and make great gifts too!

This a great lock. I love the fact that I can set the combo. This lock works with both my rifle bag and my handgun bag. Definitely recommend.

I bought these specifically to go on a couple of Savior rifle bags during transportation. The locks I had did not fit well through the zippers. The cable in these is a little bit thinner, so it goes through with no problem. I think they could be cut with a good pair of wire cutters, but since I will only be using them for compliance traveling to the range, it is a non issue for me. I also like the quality of the lock, number wheels, and ease to set combination.

These came individually boxed... so you could use this for stocking stuffers if you wanted to. The locks had nice weight to them and the function was smooth and easy. Took a min to set them and they worked.

This is not a good product for the savior gun soft gun case or any case for that matter , the lock is strong but the cable on the lock however is vary week to the point we’re a pair of good scissors can’t cut threw the cable not happy with this product !!
