How to Clean Your Saxophone?
- 1.To clean your instrument, the first thing you need to do is to clean the mouthpiece and the neck. Ensure you thoroughly remove any moisture with the cleaning cloth.
- 2.To clean the inside of the saxophone, use the through cloth and pull it through the bell and out of the neck joint. This will clean out the inside of the instrument.
- 3.Do not forget to clean the tone hole with the tone hole cleaner and finally, use one of the cloths to thoroughly wipe down the instrument. You may also want to give it a polish, so it really shines

After playing for an hour my saxophones body takes 3 or 4 swabs to be dry. I wish it was more absorbent, but it is fine for the price. It is nonabrasive and works well on the silver. The weights on the swabs are sturdy enough. I wish the swab for the body had the same length of rope or line to pull through on both sides. The mouthpiece brush works, just sheds some. I wish the kit had paper so I could remove moisture from the foam pads easier. I don't use the small brush often, but works well on small detailing.

I like the swabs. They are a nice material and the cords are weighted on the end. I had never used one with such streamlined weights. I always leave mine out of the case and hanging to stay dry. That's what I would recommend.

The cloth that this cleaning cloth is made out of takes a long time to absorb moisture. I'll pull it out and see the water droplets sticking to it, and they take many seconds to fully absorb into the cloth. To the point I now have to leave it inside absorbing the moisture and pull it out very, very, very slowly. Very weird

I've been using the cleaner that came with my sax for a while now. It's not the best, and I had nothing to clean the neck either. This kit covers both the body and neck of the instrument and is pretty cheap. The shape and length of it makes one pull through pick up excess moisture. I appreciate the included mouthpiece brush as well. The other brush included... I don't know what I would do with it. It could be used to get dust or dirt out of crevices, I guess.The microfiber picks up a lot of moisture with just one pass. The larger one has a weight on both ends of the string, so you could pull it back and forth if you wanted to. Good product and should last a while.
