I have to say I love these tires. I had been getting the best mountain biking tires from my local bike shop (armadillo tires was the name but I am not sure if that is one tire or a series). However, I found I was biking on country roads 75% of the time instead of mountain biking thus I wanted to see if I could find a tire that could do more street biking while still retaining the ability to do mountain biking. These tires ended up outperforming my old tires on street and mountain trails. Measuring with my speedometer I gained about 3-4 mph on street biking. For mountain biking, I noticed a large gain in traction with the cornering as these tires have a high knob count on the side compared to my last and it is interesting particularly when these tires are new to be going in a straight line where you are riding more the street potion of the tires and then take a corner and feel an instead increase of grip as the mountain biking tires come into play.For other aspects of the tires, I can't say too much. They are a bit heavier but I don't notice it when I am biking. They have a pretty thick amount of rubber that has prevented goat heads from getting to the tubes. I have put about ~2,000 miles on these with that being about a 60% street to 40% trail mixture and the treads are about 60% down.Overall a great tire and I would also add for new people don't be afraid to shop around for tires outside of a store for there is a greater selection of tires than at a local store and these are just one example of a great tire.

Kinda hard to review this since I didn't have it long but luckily no flats yet.Tires are smooth when riding, I can easily ride this on gravel trails.It was a tight fit on my bike but I have just enough space to have no issues.

It has a reflective strip along the sidewall for additional visibility when riding at night. The tire weighs almost 3 and a half pounds, but it is a thick tire. I also installed two tire liners for extra flat protection. This is as close as I can get to an airless tire. I cannot find a 29 inch airless mountain bike tire or airless tire liner. I have ridden 1,200 miles without a flat. My bike is my transportation so reducing the chance of flats when commuting to work and hauling home refrigerated and frozen food is of the utmost importance to me. UPDATE: As of April 14, 2022, I have ridden about 6,200 miles with these tires and added tire liner materials and HAVE NOT HAD ANY FLATS FROM PUNCTURES! I have had not had to replace the front tire yet. I had to put on another SCHWALBE Marathon Plus MTB on the rear at about 3,150 miles. Since the rear tire is drive tire and more weight is on the rear tire, it is not surprising that it did not last as long as the front tire. When the tire life is averaged using the front and rear tires, it will be at least 5,000 miles per tire.

They take for ever to break and you have to fill them to the max to keep them moving but then they bring a smile to your face and you make fun of those idiots who risk their life's on faster tires and pass you. This is a therapy tire.

These things are awesome I say indestructible but I put these on my trek 850 and went on the Fullerton Trail Loop in CA with cantilever brakes and a 3 x 7 group set set and didn’t die and due to the puncture resistance I haven’t had to change out the tubes in over four monthsOr whenever I purchased these

Used this to replaced a slick that got holed too easily imho. Rolls as well or better than the slick. Has a lot of meat in the center, so I hope it'll resist flats. Went on easily. Rolling on Cannondale trail bike in tough urban conditions.

I was getting tired of patching tubes and when a trusted local bike tech told me about these tires I didn't hesitate to order two sets for my two bikes. I had no idea such a thing existed. No more flats for this guy. Ever. I've put hundreds of miles on them and they still look brand new.

Dal momento che io uso la bici praticamente come il mio mezzo di trasposto unico (circa 800 km/mese), e dove i punti di servizio bici sono molto limitati, mi servivano gomme che mi offrivano garanzia di non fare buca. Gia' in passato ho adoperato queste gomma e potrei dire che quando facevo una buca con queste gomme, circa 6000 - 8000 km dopo, era il segnale che era ora di cambiare le gomme. Sono gomme molto buone e resistenti. In realta' solo ora (ottobre 2022), e cioe' solo dopo 14,000 km, ho bucato per la prima volta.

Las he puesto en la bicicleta de mi mujer, que ha llevado Schwalbe desde que la compró, y espero que sean tan buenas como las que tenÃa. Con que sea la misma calidad de las antiguas nos conformamos.

Grazie a loro sono andato da Reggio Emilia a La Spezia passando per montagne, rovi, strade con vetro e qualsiasi altra cosa che in condizioni normali mi avrebbero fatto bucare, in 200km non ho visto segni di usura e sono ancora li belli gonfi, arrivati accartocciati li ho lasciati 24 ore a riposo prima di montarli. Montaggio molto difficoltoso perchè il bordino è molto duro. Li riprenderò assolutamente.
