Sometimes working on my old cars require me to get my arms into tight places. As a result, I had more than my fair share of cuts and abrasions on my forearms. These sleeves provide some protection and are comfortable to wear. and work in. This item is no "cure all, end all" protection but it is a very good start.

SCHWER Cut Resistant Sleeves. Size M fits my skinny arm OK, kind of loosely, but the elastic at the top holds them in place. The thumb hole is a great idea, as it will prevent the sleeve creeping up above my gloves and leaving a gap at the wrist. I got them for pruning shrubs, trees, and rose bushes to prevent the sliced up arms AND the snagged and ruined shirtsleeves I get doing this yardwork. They stay in place surprisingly well while working for a brief spell on a recent warmish day, but I’m interested to see how they perform during hours of brush-clearing work this spring. Comfortable and seemingly tough – they’ll certainly be better than the bare arms I employed in a misguided effort to spare my clothing. Spare my arms instead!
