It always feel good to learn a new skill set that results in money saving. One such skill is replacing the mesh screen on a bedroom or backyard sliding door. Having had previous experience a few years ago replacing my backyard screen mesh, I knew replacing the bedroom window mesh shouldn't be too difficult.This product comes with a roll of mesh and all the tools needed to get the job done. The entire job took less than 20 minutes to complete. If you have a 2nd person to help you out, it makes the job quicker because the 2nd person can help hold and gently pull the mesh tightly as you lay down the rubber seal into the frame with the mesh underneath.Once complete, you can stand back and enjoy a sense of accomplishment knowing you did it all yourself. It's been 2 months now and the mesh still looks solid.I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to replace their window screen. Take on the challenge. Amaze yourself!!

This kit was so easy to use, even my pup helped, jk... I popped out two of the screens in our home and removed the old torn up screens. Glad the kit came with the tool to pull the old splining out.I did go a bit too hard when rolling the new spline in and it tore the screen material. I had to redo it and was a bit more careful moving forward. No worries, there's so much screen material, messing up this time didn't make much of a difference.Afterwards, I used a utility knife to trim off the excess screen material. The kit doesn't come with one so be sure you have some type of tool to do this.I have a ton of material leftover and a nice box to store it in. Definitely recommend purchasing.

Only had issues removing and reinstalling the door, once it was out, the replacement mesh was perfect size, tools worked absolutely great to get old one out and new one in. Ideally stretched, level, straight and tight. No rips and easy to cut the extra sections. Did the installation in under 2 hours, most due to the physical removal and installation of the door into the frame, not the screen replacement.

The screen material came folded, and it took a while for the creases to fade away after assembly. The rubber spline material was easy to work with and made for a snug fit in the channel, and the screen itself is durable (no tears during assembly). Overall the product loses one star for being a bit challenging to install with no helpful tips (maybe would have been easier if I had a helper to keep it taught), and it loses a second star because it smells REALLY bad. It's been installed for 24 hours now, and the chemical smell is still very strong. Hopefully that smell will reduce over time, but I needed to fix the screen because it's hot out and I want the window to be open, and now I smell it in the house.

I can’t speak highly enough about this terrific product. Excellent grade quality, professional install tools, and the sharp hook tool even came in a quadruple thick little plastic bag so it would not damage the screen in shipping. Now THAT is attention to detail! There was even a cute little “Thank You†sticker as a box closure. Total job took 10 minutes, a box cutter blade to cut the screen, and just a little patience to look like a factory installation! Kudos to this Seller, you did everything right!

Thought I would try this as my windows have had small holes from the cats and I was not ready to spend money for whole new screens. The kit was easy to use, and everything you need is in the box.My old screens were metal so removing them created a lot of dust. The screen in this kit is a softer, almost plastic feel, so easier to work with and stretch with ease. Super durable so I didn’t worry about it pulling apart.If possible, do this outside! The debris from pulling out the old screen was intense and clean up would’ve been easier outside; give yourself some spaceThis was a great DIY kit, as someone with no experience I was able to rescreen two windows in about an hour. Definitely would purchase again.My windows look new again just from this simple fix.
