We have a terrific pottery bench that lives on our back porch. It has two cupboard doors that kept popping open. It only took a slight wind to open then. So, I ordered these hooks. They were a snap to install. They work perfectly to keep both doors closed until the contents of the cupboard are needed. The hooks and screws seem well-made and durable. I expect them to last the life of the potting bench.

My five start rating is based on the price. These are VERY simple hooks. The metal is thick enough to the job, but these will ONLY work as a polite "reminder" for others to knock (or just don't come in). These are NOT for actual safety. We used them on interior doors. Installation is straight forward.

Very easy to install. Unfortunately that's about it as far as good things go. Very flimsy, cheap feeling.
