Works as it should. Great side of the road repair if you have one on hand.

The previous owner said their mechanic wanted to replace the entire TIPM for over $1,000.I did some research on YouTube, and made this $10 fix. So far, so good! It's super easy to install - I am not a mechanic, but was able to do it in just a few minutes.(2011 Dodge Caravan)

Our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country developed the fuel pump relay issue. This fix can be completed in less than 5 minutes. I installed this jumper cable, and the vehicle started right up without any issues! It is sad Mopar AKA Dodge Chrysler Plymouth knows of this issue and offers no OEM replacement parts and is deemed "Unserviceable" . There are 2 other "fixes" One is a quick clip in circuit board for $60 and the other takes major removal of components and re working the vehicle wire harness. This $8 cable is the quickest easiest less expensive repair available. Highly recommended !

After my daughter paid a couple thousand dollars to have her Grand Caravan “Repairedâ€, unsuccessfully, I decided to get involved and do some research. Everything pointed to a problem with the fuel pump relay, soldered onto the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module). I guessed the relay was stuck on, draining the battery. My daughter and her husband are hearing impaired, so they couldn’t hear the fuel pump humming away. After watching a few videos, I thought…what the heck, for a few bucks, I’ll order one of these cables and see if bypassing that relay fixes the problem. Had my daughter jump start her van and bring it by. It took me 5 minutes to verify that the fuel pump was indeed running with the engine off, pull the two specified jumpers, and plug in the cable. Fuel pump was now appropriately off with the ignition off. Started right up and we were good to go. So I’m a hero and my daughters mechanic is an idiot, or doesn’t know how to do a Google search.

I purchased this for my 2013 chrysler town and country. I was able to get by for a while with this, though I did have to cycle the key most of the time. I did end up having to take it to the dealership and have a chrysler one put in. Same idea but more heavy duty and wired a bit different.

Our Jeep was having intermittent issues with the engine missing/dropping out for a brief moment while driving/accelerating, as well as full on dying and not restarting for ~15 minutes. It was exhibiting issues randomly for a few months and then on every drive for a week and we were forced to park it. Nothing else made sense except a fuel pump or power feed to the pump issue (i.e. relay) but it was not that easy to diagnose fully since it wouldn't fail idling in the garage. I dug into the schematics and found that the Fuel Pump Relay is hard soldered to the TIPM, which is stupidly priced, if you can get one, or you have to have it "rebuilt". After watching a YouTube video on the issue (the guy shows a Charger I think, but same powertrain system), installed this kit to push power to the Fuel Pump via the rear accessory power circuit and the issue has not reoccurred for two weeks at all. Will continue to monitor, but this kit seems to entirely solve this problem.Furthermore, most are saying that this should only be a temporary fix and the TIPM still needs to be completely replaced. I am by no means a MOPAR expert, but I do a lot of tinkering with cars. I don't see how that should be needed. This kit is no different than if the TIPM (or entire power distro system of the vehicle) was constructed differently. This is a large gauge wire, capable of carrying the current needed, it is fused, and it lives inside the fuse block under the cover (i.e. it is protected). This is no different than the other many hundreds of feet of wiring already in the vehicle, assuming you installed it properly and the wiring is free, not smashed under a relay/pinched where it could short out. It just bypasses the failed part of the TIPM. Maybe people just feel like it is bad practice to leave a wire like that in the fuse block area, but those people should look UNDER a fuse block and see what is going on some time..... Might blow their minds :) .Anyways, will update if anything goes sideways, but if no update, consider it working properly still and we will drive it daily in a harsh climate (Minnesota).

It got the van up and running, which was great.But…….. the real problem is still there. The possibility of a battery drain is still there. This is a temporary repair.

My van has been having shifting issues as well as problems starting up for almost a year. I took it to several mechanics, tried a bunch of "fixes", spent too much money, and nothing worked. I stumbled accross a forum online that suggested I try this. I was incredibly skeptical but I was pretty much out of options so I figured why not try. I paid the $20, waited 3 days, put it in myself in 5 mins with the help of a YouTube video, and every problem I had with my van is fixed (besides my bald tires 😂). I've heard it's a temporary fix but as a busy mom of 4, I'm just grateful to have my van up and running. I feel like I also gained bragging rights because I pretty much fixed it myself after 4 mechanics couldn't. Viva le minivan 🤘😎
