Bought this for extra so I don't have to wash my coffee grinder to bring my herbs. Works great

It works, but be gentle with it. This replacement cup is made of thin metal and not as well built as the original. The blade has a different angle and doesn't grind as quickly as the original. Rather than replace the cup with this I will replace the whole unit.

My original had sharp blades and was quiet and fast. Thing is, blades got dull, so I was looking for a unit for which you can buy a spare cup ... Oilla, this fits the bill so I bought both the Secura grinder, as well as this spare cup. To my disappointment though the secura design (both with the cup that comes with the grinder, and this spare cup) is inferior. The cups rattle like all hell is about to break loose, clearly due to loose tolerances, which I'm confident is adversely affecting the speed of the blade, and the blade is as dull as a butter knife. In short, it doesn't hold a candle in terms of ability to "grind" compared to my original unit, which was an unknown generic brand.

We bought 2 and both the blades broke, battery died. It’s a waste of money!

I had it grind a dried fig and it seized up the motor and melted the connection on the bottom of the bowl that attaches to the motor. Poor quality machine. I've had another simple grinder and I'm going back to that one. (Braun)
