We bought this style of sprout grower simply because we had difficulty with our stacked "pan" style grower (the water would not drain reliably from each pan requiring manual intervention each time new water was added). So far, this style works great. Water is easy to add as needed and because the jars are tilted in the rack provided, the water drains out as desired. The sprouts themselves grow throughout the jar and do not just congregate at the bottom as you might expect. Periodically adding water is much easier to manage and there is no difference in the quality of the sprouts between this jar style and the other pan style. The tray provided catches any remaining drips of water from the jars so the counter surface stays dry. It may be too soon to tell (we have only used them for three months), but there is no apparent rusting of the metal screens on the jar lids. We have not yet used the jar covering sleeve as the sprouts we are growing are recommended to have full light. Overall, we are pleased with this purchase and would recommend this product.

I made alfalfa sprouts and lentil sprouts. I followed the directions and the seeds sprouted in 3 days. I moved the jars to a TV table near a window that has sunlight and they turned green. I like the whole system especially having the drip tray. The lids rinse off easily. I wish I had bought this sooner instead of buying sprouts at the supermarket. Most of the time the market doesn't have them anyway.

This is the best sprout grower I have ever owned and so easy to use. Well made and excellent design. I got the “salad mix†sprouts. Used one tablespoon and followed the directions and have been enjoying these on my salad.

So far, it works and I have no complaints. The instructions were easy the only thing is I thought they came with the sprouts and I had to purchase separately.

Purchased a set more than a year ago, but dropped a jar & it broke, so this is my second set. A total of 3 mason jars suits my needs much better. I eat sprouts 1-2X / weekly. Works great. I really like to give these kits as gifts. A lot of relatives & friends use them almost as much as I do. Highly recommend for getting more sprouts in your diet. Timely delivery both times. Thank You.

I just received my Seed Sprouting Jar Kit! with much anticipation I opened the box and found it to be very well packaged. The Jars are much bigger and heavier than I thought they would be, quality is very good, and the lids are just as solid. I took out the metal holder and couldn't figure out how to place the Jars, but I am over 55 LOL after looking at the picture I realized there was a tray... found the white tray in the bottom of the Box and placed the metal holder inside...and now it all made sense to me! I've been sprouting for many years from Mason Jars and was so excited to find this little treasure. Can't wait to try it out!! Thank you
