Very easy to use and keeps out mini indoor green house at the perfect temperature and humidity. We are getting some of the best looking plants this year compared to years without this mat. Wish we bought one sooner.

Size is great, as is the price. My only complaint is that the mat gets too hot to put seed tray or pots directly on it - at one point soil temperature was up to 95 degrees! I've had to find racks to put the seed tray on, at the right height, through trial and error, to get the soil to a more reasonable heat for germination.

I have about 5 of these mats and I love them. I have a makeshift greenhouse in my basement for seedlings and "waking up" dahlia tubers, and the basement obviously isn't too warm, so I put these heating mats underneath all the trays and pots, and with the greenhouse, everything stays warm. They don't kick out a whole lot of heat - just warmth - which is perfect for starting seeds. You can leave it plugged in long-term and not worry about overheating. I actually just bought some smart plugs that are linked to my Alexa, and I can shut the plugs off from my phone or by asking Alexa to, or I can even set a timer for them to turn on or off.These seedling heat mats are so helpful when starting seeds or waking up tubers! It's artificial spring!

Bought these for fermenting, water warmers and nest boxes. Tried two different brands that seemed identical, but these are lumpy with some padding in them. the other brand I got were cardboard flat. These seem to get a litlle warmer, maybe due to the padding, If I keep them it will just be for chicken nest box warmers in winter, which they do keep the eggs from freezing before I get out there.
