I had to replace both trim cylinders and chose these. They fit and work as expected. So far, I am completely satisfied. I would recomment them to anyone needing this item. Installation was simple. They work!!

Very easy installation (except years of salt water making things hard to pry apart). The real surprise was when I began using them - they're smoother and quieter than the MerCruiser OEM they replaced. I honestly think the quality control is better on these SEI replacements than was the case on the MerCruiser units. I began having trouble with the originals after only 2-3 years. They were never as fast and quiet as these.Best of all, got this whole job done for about $350. Mechanic - who is good, and fair - was over $1K to replace with MerCruiser parts.
