High Temperature Resistance Fiberglass Gasket For Stove& Fireplace Door Glasses
Our high temperature resistance fiberglass door glass gasket are mainly used to wrap around the edges of stove and fireplace door glasses to act as a buffer to protect the glass from being crushed by other objects; it also seals the edges of the glass to prevent smoke get out from the stove or fireplace combustion chamber. Our products have been used for many years on stoves or fireplaces of various brands and models, can fully meet the requirements of various door glass.
This kind of self-adhesive gasket tape is easy to install, just need remove the release paper on the back, stick the middle part of the gasket tape to the edge of the glass, and then press the gasket tape to the two sides of the glass, so that the gasket can be firmly stick on the edge of the glass.

THE SHAPE AND SIZE
Our gasket adopts a special boat-shaped structure, which is thick on both sides and thin in the middle. Because the middle is thin, it is easier to bend, so that the thicker gaskets on both sides can be more firmly attached to the glass. The size of the tape is as below:

I used this to stop drafts from our old doors. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I did not put over the magnets and after snugging the doors in I find it does not interfere with the doors staying shut

If you have a wood stove, air tight glass and door seals are important. I change them every year. The self-adhesive on this glass gasket makes the job easier.

EXTREME chemical/toxic smell when heated. Bought this gasket as a replacement for my gas fireplace that runs on a thermostat. It's been on a lot due to lower temps and the whole house reeks because the blower kicks on and disperses the heat and the stench. It's been a week and there's still a terrible smell whenever the fireplace is on. I should have read reviews more closely before buying this as there were some reviewers with this same issue.UPDATE: After contacting the seller, they say this product is not meant to be used in a gas fireplace. This is not clear in the product description, but trust me, if you are looking to replace the gasket on a gas fireplace, DO NOT USE THIS ONE!I have requested that the seller make this info clear in the listing so others don't make this purchase if they are looking for a replacement gasket for the glass on a gas fireplace.

When gasket heats up it’s smells really bad. Had to air out my house twice. Going to start the fire place up again and see if the smell burns off. It fits good, easy to install. Just the smell.
