I was looking for a new tripod to replace an old targus I’ve had for years. Doing vine reviews, I thought I’d make it work for me by getting this tripod to aid in taking product photos.Here are a few things I really like about this, as well as things that needs improvement/ buy should be aware of:> First is that it’s not a tripod. It’s technically a quadripod; which means more stability on most situations. Having four legs is great for stability for most regularly shooting situations. The base can be used without being fully extended, and has very little play when used fully extended.- That said, tripods have their own use being slightly more versatile in uneven terrains or locations.> The range of extension/height length is fantastic. 72†is more than enough for any regular shooting angle.- Some heavier phones/ phones with cases/ cameras may be too heavy to use the full 72†or cause it to be very unsteady.> The rotation handle is a game changer for filming situations. After decades of using a really basic tripod that required having the adapter loosened to do panning… the 360° rotation panning handle is great for shooting action scenes or recording sports on the sidelines. It moves smoothly without compromising sticking or jumping.- Using a panning technique tends to cause some shakiness from the user. Basic mechanics in the handles means this can be noticeable in your recording. I recommend using a stability mode or editing a stability crop in-post if shooting something that requires a lot of or fast panning.> The Bluetooth remote was super easy to pair; just go into your Bluetooth device settings & connect to the accessory. I tested this out on an iOS device. The remote functions as a “remote button pusher†but initiating the same action as pressing the UP VOLUME button. **You will need to have your camera app already open in order to use the remote properly** or it will just act as though you are pushing the volume button.Overall, I’m pretty happy with this ‘tripod’ and all of its functionality/ adjustability. Using the full 72†can be a little challenging when you need absolute steadiness; but I find very few situations this minor design issue will actually cause a problem. A great value for all that it offers, meeting and even exceeding the selling points other products offer.

It breaks very easily. I bought it, I didn't use it because I was leaving for Europe on March 15 and I wanted to learn how to use it and as soon as I picked it up it broke, but they won't give it back to me because the days went by, $30 thrown away.

No instructions included. I’m at a loss as to how this thing works. The parts do not easily move. I can’t recommend.
