Got this for meditation, but use it for a lot of stuff. We're a family that will throw a board game down on the living room carpet and spend hours having a blast. So this is a great, small, option to have around so (adults with bad backs and knees) can participate! The only downside is that the legs "click in" and the hardware isn't super snug. Not the manufacturers fault, it's made to come apart for travel, etc, and I'll probably put a couple dots of wood glue on it, because we don't plan on breaking it down for any reason.

This stool has a beautiful design. I really love that it is solid Walnut. I got the 7-in height. I am a 5'5 woman and it feels slightly too high, but definitely still usable.It was very easy to assemble, and apparently easy to disassemble as well, because I saw that the legs didn't actually lock in and when I leaned forward it partially disassembled.I'm hoping that it will continue to hold up strongly.I love the clean look of the wood and being able to both meditate and work in this kneeling position at my low desk.

The hardest thing for me with seated/knelt relaxation and meditation has always been either my angles, knees, or calves. Some body part is always mad about that posture and sitting position. This little stool is such a game changer for me and my lower legs.In the box is the disassembled stool in its own a carrying bag and a nice "Thank You" note. Both of the legs are marked for appropriate installation on the stool base. Both legs are recessed with metal clasps to add a bit more locking force to the legs. I did initially wonder if this design was going to be too loose while using it. Turns out to be fairly stable once weight is on the stool. (For a side project): There are two divot marks on the legs for using screws or wooden dowels to make the legs more permanent if portability isn't an issue. That will require tools and the know-how.I got the larger 8" stool because I am 6'-5" and 240lbs. I wanted the extra room for my legs and it definitely has plenty of room for them. I didn't have any issues using the stool as it is and at no time felt like it wouldn't hold me properly. The wood seems to be very sturdy and well cut. It was a bit dirty in the box but nothing some wood treatment didn't make shiny and prettier. I wish I would have known about these stools years ago. I am extremely pleased with it and hope to get many years of use out of it. 5 stars.

This prayer bench appeared used out of the package with scuff marks on the legs (see picture).Overall, the wood is dark and lovely with a nice finish. The bench is comfortable even without a cushion and sits high above the ground (I am 5' 8" and ordered the medium height version).However, the metal clips are poorly installed and inadequate. Once the legs are clipped in, there is still some "play" (a loose gap) between the seat and legs. When I lifted my weight up from the seated position and reached back to retrieve the bench, the legs detached all by themselves and flopped to the floor. If it's already dysfunctional on the first day, the bench will likely not hold up to prolonged use.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this stool. It's REAL wood not particle board. There are no instructions but it's pretty easy to figure out. You simply need to attach the legs of the stool. The only issue I have with this is the legs don't stay on when I lift the stool up off the ground. They're sturdy when I'm sitting on it though. Because this is a real wood stool, it can be a little hard on the bum but I'm able to get a good 20 minute meditation in without it bothering me.

Solid wood components with the exception of the metal leg latches and hardware; easy to assemble. These are not meant to carry the full weight of an individual, but support the hind quarters while easing stress on the knees (cushioning the knees is recommended). This particular kneeling stool is for shorter, smaller people (ideally around 5' or so). It is comfortable and quite portable (travel bag included).My problem with this product is the price-line of ~$90 US; I do not see the value there based upon current market. The fit of the legs to the seat are not precise and there is a little bit too much side-play when latched in place. I would have hoped for a more snug fit and better machining (or hand crafting) at the marketing price. This makes the Sensa kneeling stool about average, in my humble opinion.
