It's very easy to navigate through all the functions. The fact that you can unplug it from the wall and take it to your cameras makes aiming your cameras a breeze. The picture quality is very good, and the motion detection works very well both day and night. Images are also pretty good with the night vision. Audio is always on whichever camera you choose to have it on. There's only two things that I wish were different. One is, with the monitor on split screen, there's a rather large border all around the images. The border does contain useful and necessary information and icons, but only half of the border is used, and the border takes up literally half of the screen size. It's a small screen to begin with, so it would be much better if there was an improvement there. The other thing is, there is no way to turn off motion sensor recording. When I'm busy working in the area of surveillance all day, it would be nice to be able to turn off the recording function while keeping the monitoring function active. When I come in and check the monitor, there will be pages and pages of recorded videos of just me doing my thing. However, if you know that all the recordings are nothing important, then you can erase them all at once with the memory card formatting function. But if you have recordings you want saved, you'll erase them too. These two thing are not deal breakers for me by any means. I really like the system, and would buy it again. If it lasts a long time, it's definitely a great value, and I highly recommend it! I hope this info is helpful!

This camera system is reliable and very easy to use. The picture is clear day or night. Occasionally we have to wipe spider webs off the cameras but we are waterfront and that means spiders. Playback is easy also. You can set it to alarm, movement, etc. to customize it to your needs. This is the 2nd one we bought and the first is 4 years old and doing great.

After months of trial and error with this system, trying to get it working properly on my front porch with motion activated recording, I have finally come to the conclusion that this is really useless. After trying multiple settings and positioning of the camera, it just won't detect motion at night, To make matters worse, I have discovered it also has the same problem on cloudy days. Today for example, it has been cloudy most of the day, I had several deliveries with no recordings. I will need to find another system that works properly. From what I can tell, it appears all of the functionality for the camera settings resides in the monitor/base. The camera simply has a basic motion detection in it, but everything else is in the base/monitor. The old system that I replaced had all of the functionality within the camera and it worked perfectly day and ight. It was quite old and finally died, so it needed to be replaced. I will now search for something better and simply put this system in the electronics recycling box.

After a couple of months its working nicely. Much better than my older Uniden 444. Recording begins several seconds before subject comes into view as opposed to the Uniden which often wouldn't start until the subject passed by. Good clear image day or night. Very few false recordings due to shadows, blowing trees, etc. Did test out the remote viewing on my phone after internet setup and it worked fine although I don't use it much. Setup was fairly easy if you closely follow instructions. Monitor is much larger than my Uniden which is a big plus and the touch screen works well. Will update if my opinion changes in future.

I did lots of searching for the right security camera set up for me i wanted an easy to set up easy to use and i needed to be able to view recordings of activity & this little set up works great for me.The little monitor sits on my book shelf perfect right where i can see it . Comes with 2 cameras so i have the screen split to view both cameras, i expect i will purchase another two cameras as this will take up to 4 cameras,the cameras also pick up sound which was a nice surprise. The monitor takes up to 256 gb micro sd card to record activity, i use a 256 gb card works just fine. The cameras detect motion which then starts recording for as long as the motion detector senses activity all individual activity is date and time stamped and its easy to scroll through the memory for play back viewing on the monitor. There is a little red light visible on the camera at all times and i like that as i feel an intruder would see the cameras are live . At night the cameras infa red lights are lit up and picture quality at night is good... You get a cable to hook up the monitor to the internet via your modem so that you can view the cameras via a cell phone, i did not want to use this option i prefer not to hook up to the internet but if you want to you can..I am pleased with my purchase so far.

Update. The Seller stood by the bad Cameras and sent 2 New Cameras. So the Seller gets a Big Plus on standing by the product. Claims that some serial # cameras have a known bad chip. So they replaced them both.Bought this system just a little over 4 months ago, last week one of the cameras quit working, well this week the 2nd camera quit working. Worked great for 4 months, but for the money, they should work longer then 4 months. Have a message in to the seller and company to see what they will do for it. But if the cameras are only good for 4 months, not the system you want

Ich bin Überrascht nachdem ich ein paar anbiter ausprobiert habe muss ich sagen für den Preis einfach super habe mir den Bildschirm und 2 Kameras bestellt angeschlossen ich wahr sofort überrascht wie schnell das ging und habe mir am selben tag gleich noch 2 Kameras bestellt die Bildqualität hat mich sehr überrascht sogar bei totaler dunkelheit super Qualität .!!

Macht das was es machen soll ! Die Camera hängt vor unserer Haustür, somit können wir immer sehen, wer vor der Tür steht. Einfach super ! Würd ich definitiv weiter empfehlen.

As a remote system this is a complete waste of money. Phone App is amateurish, no PC app either. App sometimes connects to cams sometimes doesn't. Trying to view events remotely even if you do connect is a hit and miss affair. Picture quality when set to HD is what is expected BUT it then switches back to VGA and you cant get it back. Reception is not good unless base unit is close to camera. Don't waste your time and money if it is for real security purposes.
