This is a great beginner's sewing kit in a very well made basket. I upgraded the scissors. The ones provided were sub par. I also added a small box of pins.

Since our 9 yr old grandaughter showed interest in sewing, we thought it would be a great opportunity to see where it took us...ordered the sewing box and she even forgot to use her tablet for 2 days....She loves having her own sewing kit and her old rag doll is her model....We are now trying her first Singer sewing machine and enjoy watching every minute of her fashion chapter.

Advertised that it included a child’s starter sewing kit, and there was nothing but the sewing basket. The basket is nice but I chose this one over others because of the advertised kit that was to be included. Disappointing.

Had purchased as present, but was disappointed that inside finishing trim was visible all around the outside where lid & bottom met. It was the first thing I noticed when unboxing & just couldn’t get past it. Also, the inside dimensions were smaller than anticipated. The included sewing kit items were great, but they filled the entire box under the tray. Will be returning this item.
