I purchased this as a gift for a 13-year old with a passion for sewing. It is very spacious and will give her the ability to store a lot. The top tray offers a lot of room for storing thread, pins, and needles. There is a built-in pin cushion on the inside of the lid. My only wish is that it came with some equipment, but I knew it did not ahead of time. Also those sewing packets often come with poor quality utensils. I bought a nice scissors, wrist pincushion, colored pins, and needles. There was room to add some candy and a toy. I hope this “angel†gets a lot of joy and use out of it.

Love it, very pretty and was a nice size. It replaced a very old cracked plastic case which held a lot of stuff, very pleased just disappointed it came in a clear plastic bag that was partially opened luckily it was not damaged.

This is a lightweight box. It works for a beginner or a sewer who doesn't have a large stock of supplies. My daughter does basic sewing, so this is a perfect box for her needs.

I have lived my entire adult life without a sewing basket and now I wonder why.
