Needed a complete sewing set for a repair and this one has everything I needed, love the butterfly pins, the screw closed needle holder and beautiful pin cushion, plenty of color threads to use for my projects, and love how the scissors stay in the lid! Would buy again!

I love this! It has everything sewing a project. It’s small and compact. I love the wooden box. It has everything I need to do a mend or when seeing a project. It’s perfect for someone starting to learn sewing. I would recommend this to a friend.

Hope to use as an emergency travel kit in vehicle, because this kit is larger then the usual sewing kits to be tucked into pockets or handbags, better repairs.

This was a gift for my 10 year old amd she loved every part of it. This item made a great first sewing kit, it is a quality box that is beautiful containg all the main useful tools. A great value for the money and my daughter was overjoyed.

This was a real surprise in a good way. With such a low price, I would have expected cheaper components, stingy thread quantities, or something along those lines. I'm really impressed with the variety of bits and tools fit into one convenient box though! I was also prepared for some of those things like funky chemical smells or finding the wood is actually just particle board or whatnot, I didn't find any of those types of issues. The cloth bag is nicely sized and fits the wooden box well. The latch closes nicely, all the parts showed arrived AND fit back inside (no 'once you take it out, it'll never be the same' issues here.)The threads seem like cotton or at least a natural-leaning blend, so it's not like you're getting cheapy nylon like polyester thread. I found some of the colors a little weird, but that's just personal preferences anyway. Most shades were what I'd imagine to be very reasonable and functional for lots of folks. The simple spools can also be reused once empty, so it feels like something you could keep with you all your life, even after exhausting the original stock. The scissors are sharp and totally reasonable. They're not professional shears or anything, but I've seen some utterly abysmal scissors in sewing kits before and so this was a real surprise! I also bought a four pack of pins from another seller that I thought were super cute (crystal 'diamond' shaped tops, pearl tops, etc.) that I expected would be my new, fancy "go to" set, but find myself reaching for the pins from THIS kit instead. The flat plastic bows are super easy to grab and manipulate with more precision than round pin heads. They're also thin and nicely sharp and make the pins I -thought- I would like seem like caveman clubs in comparison.I bought mine as sort of a 'car kit' I could take and go on vacations, travel, for emergency sewing, etc., because I figured it would be a slightly improved version of a pocket sewing kit... But it's actually an impressive casual set and I actually pull this thing out now more often than I do my usual sewing kit just because it's so handy and I don't have to lift up trays to rifle through and find supplies. I would -definitely- still have purchased it if I could make the choice again and will absolutely give this as a gift to any new and budding crafters or sewers who are looking to start getting outfitted. I plan on using this for years, and I think it will definitely stand up to such use!Frankly, it's just really nice these days to be able to get something that fits within a budget, but will also NOT simply fall apart after one or two uses!THE ONLY CON I FOUND (which was easily solved):If the scissors holder in the top doesn't hold the them well (on mine, they would fall out when I closed the lid/box moved/etc.) there's a real easy fix. I just supported the wooden bracket with my fingers to help with the force and then gently wedged and wiggled the scissors in deeper until they fit snugly. Although it -is- a fairly quality wood box by today's standards, it's not serious quality hardwood or anything. The softness of the wood means it's not a big deal to create a more "custom fit", so to speak, for the scissors just by shoving them in deeper. Now they don't fall out even after it's been all jostled about.Great little set that is super handy!

This sewing kit has everything needed to mend, sew, repair. It is in a beautiful wooden box and would make a lovely heirloom. All of the components are so precious, attractive and useful. Everything fits perfectly with room to add various items. The scissors are the best sewing scissors I have seen. Every time I open this box I am in awe of how pretty and useful it is.

It has everything you need and all the pieces are so cute. The pins have bows on top, the needles are gold tipped, there's enough colours and a good amount of thread on each. 2 sets of scissors (one pair of snips)... The random buttons was a little useless but a nice thought. Great little sturdy box it's kept in.

This is a great starter sewing kit. It’s got tons of thread (so many spools!) and the gold scissors are of good quality. The thread snippers are great as well! Everything in the box seems of good quality. 10/10
