This is made of a very brittle teak wood, and it is not well made. Glued, rather than joined and the lids of the top Boxes were already coming apart, and one had come completely apart. Not a good value for the money.I received a replacement, however as I pulled it out of its box, parts were falling off from the drawer front, its side and then the side holding the drawer dropped open. it is also going back and no replacement. I'll spend the extra money and get a solid well made box from the Amish.

Well,.. I like the box very much. However,..there are a few flaws. It is well packed, so well packed that when I tried to get the first wooden box out of the box, it was so tightly packed that one of the sides broke into several pieces. I have a replacement,..I took great care getting this box unpacked.AND,.. Hahaha, LOL, but a piece, on one of the lids,..Well,..the glue joint failed. I just can’t stop laughing. As I myself am a woodworker,..And want the box,..I’ll just re-glue it. 😆Addendum: No thanks, no replacement needed. I’m happy.

This thing arrived broken. OK. Fine. Stuff happens in shipping that isn't the manufacturer's fault. Rather than sending it back to hit the landfill, I glued and clamped the open corner joints and the drawer stops lying on the bottom of the box. There was nothing I could do, however, about the cracked lid and the overall just terrible quality and design of this box.The top drawers on the fold-out part are ok, but the drawers underneath, in the middle layer, are nearly useless. The drawers overlap in a really inconvenient way and the top drawers hide what's in the drawers underneath. The joints on the hinges are too loose, making the action very sticky when trying to open it. Also, it's kind of natural to want to grab the knob to open the top, but the drawers don't latch so all that happens is you open the top. You have to grab the whole drawer from underneath to open the top.The drawers in the middle are too deep to hold little things, but not deep enough to hold big things. Thread, snips, small things fit, but then they pile up on top of each other and you have to root around to find things. That's not organizing, that's chaos. Scissors, rulers, and bigger things don't fit.The drawer on the bottom is a sloppy fit. As I said, my box arrived with the drawer stops lying in the shipping box. Even after gluing them back on in the spots they clearly fell off from, the drawer sticks when opening, slops around in the opening. It's just not good.This organizer was really disappointing, especially in light of the price. If it was $30, I'd say, meh, you get what you pay for. But at nearly $80, I expected a little more. So, back it goes after all.

The trim around all lids that hold things is only lightly glued. It literally just all falls apart with very little use. It’s a cool box otherwise. Definitely Not worth the cost.

I like the design of the box. I only have one thing I don't like is that there is no pegs for thread spools or spots for bobbin storage. If the designer would come out with a matching thread box I would buy it.

Product was poorly made. Barely "glued" together and coming apart. It has been returned.
