This is the cutest basket. It is made well with good quality materials. The tray on the inside is heavy duty and very durable, not the cheap plastic that is easily broken. The colors are so cute. The basket came with scissors, measuring tape, thimble, pin cushion, pins and seam ripper. The quality of the accessories are very good. I have been sewing for years and will be buying myself this same basket. It is a perfect size to store basic sewing supplies.

I really was surprised at how well built and pretty this was... I had read some negative reviews bout this basket..mine was perfect ..color of basket not faded it was bright vibrant !! ...perfect for me all I need is just to hem or quick stitch repair PERFECT.. under the sturdy tray I put 42 regular size spools of thread held them all and these spools are regular size bigger spools! This is a perfect sewing basket... If you don't like tiny pins buy more I replaced sissors for smaller size ...make this darling thing what you want it to be I am so happy with my new sewing kit. If you do a lot ..a lot of sewing maybe you need a larger basket ...don't not purchase because of a few comments against what comes in basket...remember make it what you want it to be just add some things you like ...under tray lots of room ok

I purchased this sewing basket as a gift for my friend. I was impressed that the kit was to include thread, safety pins, needles and a pin cushion. Singer is a well known brand so I was excited. The sewing box itself is quite nice. I was extremely saddened to see what was included inside. The thread consisted of tiny spools which were smaller than travel kit size. The safety pins were very small and cheaply made. The pin cushion included was hard as a rock and almost impossible to push a pin into. To be honest, I threw the included kit out as I found it cheaply made and I’d be embarrassed to include it in my gift. I went to my local fabric mart and bought full size spools of white, beige, brown, blue, black, red, gray and green thread, a container of 50 durable safety pins, a nice pin cushion, a starter kit of 25 buttons, 20 needles, a needle threader, thimble and seam ripper (replacing all the items I had thrown out) with nice, quality items. My friend was so excited when she opened the sewing kit. I suggest buying a sewing box for the box and not relying on the included items to complete your gift. They are disappointing.

I had an old, very, very large sewing basket I bought in 1986. The handle and plastic tray were both broken. So I finally decided I deserved a new one. The largest one available cost way more than I was willing to pay. I settled on this Singer basket because the price and size were right. I went thru the bottom part of the old one and it was a time capsule in layers. I had parts for a machine I bought in 1968 and replaced in 1981.Well, the new basket will only have the essentials and it is fine. Less heavy, reasonably well made. The included notions are not worth anything if you have been sewing for years. I'm sure your own notions are 100 times better than these. I tossed them. But oddly, the tray is much sturdier than the one on the old basket.A good choice. I would recommend it and buy it again.

A medium sized sewing box is efficient for my needs. It came with some sewing implements as well such as fabric scissors and a needle/pin cushion. The upper organizational tray is helpful to keep often used implements close at hand. Underneath this tray, I have 2 floss management trays as well as an extra floss winder and full size scissors. It is a cute color and the sewing pattern on the cloth outer cover is cute as well. It is lightweight and the handle makes it easy to move around and use. By far my favorite sewing box I have ever owned.

I bought the sewing basket for a friend who is learning to sew. She loves all things pink and was thrilled with the gift. The compartments are nice size for her small tools and accessories and the box is well made.

Comprei como presente para minha mãe porque ela não tinha nenhuma caixa para organizar o itens de costura dela. Ela adorou porque a caixa tem um acabamento bom e veio com mais alguns itens de costura junto. Recomendo!!

Perfect set for starting to sew. Basket is sturdy with the cutest fabric for a new sewer. The accessories are good, too. Not top quality accessories, but good for starters.
