Fit perfectly on post hole digger. Was about an inch longer than the original one on the other side but that difference doesn't seem to make a difference in how it feels when I use it. old handle very old and probably shrunk with age. i'll buy another of these when the old remaining one gives up the ghost.

I miss read the ad........it never crossed my mind that someone would buy one handle for posthole diggers. Part of the problem was the cost.....I ASSUMED at $17.00 it was a pair. I can and did buy a new tool for $24.00 The ad did not say one or two, it did read in the singular though once I reread it. Shame on me!!

Make sure that the post-hole digger that you are purchasing this for is made for a square shaped handle. There are either square ones or circular ones, and I believe both are 48 inches long, this fit my post-hole digger perfectly and came in in a timely manner. After I'm done digging about 200 or so post holes I'll update my review as far as durability goes.

I bought a post hole digger at lowes. When one handle broke and I had to replace it, I discovered they only sell round handle replacements (??) and I needed a square one. I was happy to find this replacement on line and it fits my digger just fine.
