The digger auger carrier mounts to any snowmobile bumper or ATV rack: for an ATV it mounts on the front or rear rack portion with ease while for a snowmobile it goes on the bumper perfectly. The auger lays in the scratch resistant molded cradles on the main frame and is held securely in place with our exclusive snap-n-go over center clamp. I love this auger carrier! Very easy to install and fits perfectly on the front of my quad. When you initially set it up, it takes a few minutes to get the clamp adjusted to the right tightness to hold the auger, but once tight the auger is very secure in the carrier. I've taken it out several times this season and it has worked perfectly! Other friends have checked it out and stated that it's a very nice and convenient set-up. Much better than trying to find a place and securing it in a sled! Highly recommended!

My only regret is that I waited so long to buy one. Simple to use, easy to install and very durable. It's the best auger carrier on the market bar none.

Strong and simple. Works great! Put one on the front of my atv, then bought a second one for my snowmobile. Very easy to mount. Strongly recommended for all ice fishermen that do a lot of traveling on ice.

Love it, the only reason I didn't give it 5 starts was I thought the bracket that carries the weight of the motor could be made to fold with a locking brace, it sticks out just far enough that a have to be careful about loading and unloading so that I don't catch the trailer door. I am going to see if I can find a collapsible shelf bracket. I went out with my Dad and his sleds last weekend and left my sled home and he didn't have a carrier for the auger, lets say I will never not take my sled with me again it is so convenient to use. My Dad just got his carrier for his sleds******UPDATE******* 12/27/2018I am reading some negative remarks about this product and I want to say I have used this on my sled for 3 seasons and starting the 4th season with it. I still Love it as much today as I did when I first got it, we just snowmobiled into a remote lake in the Uintah's (12 miles) no issues. I think a second clamping device could greatly improve securing the auger. if I know I am going over some ruff terrain I throw a bungy cord for security. I had one time that the auger came loose and that was user error I hadn't properly place it on the rack. Yes I would buy it again. No I am not being paid to write this.

Better than I expected! Very well made, bolted onto my 2001 panther 440 stock gear rack in about 10 minutes. Just crank down the lock nuts nice and tight and this baby will never come off.. time will tell I suppose. As long as the retention hook is snug on the auger shaft, there is no reason I should have any problems. There is a lock nut and set screw to ensure this.I can not see why anyone would spend almost twice as much on the Jaws of Ice unit, but to each their own. The included hardware should make this easy to mount to just about anything.

Best auger carrier ever. Would be nice if the motor mount was a little longer but with all the augers on the market it's great. It fits my new strikemaster electric, my old jiffy and a few that I have helped guys with on the ice over time.
